Method

How this calculator works

01

The calculator measures the unlock against current circulating supply and total supply.

02

It separates three scenarios: constant market cap, constant price, and a custom market-cap change.

03

Your token quantity is used only to illustrate theoretical position value under each scenario.

Formula

The calculation

Theoretical constant-market-cap price = current market cap ÷ new circulating supply
Example

A concrete scenario

If circulating supply rises from 100M to 120M tokens while market cap stays at $100M, the theoretical price changes from $1.00 to about $0.8333.

Known limits

What this estimate cannot guarantee

  • Supply changes do not mechanically determine market price.
  • Unlocked tokens may vest, remain unclaimed, be staked, or enter the market gradually.
  • Demand, liquidity, market structure, and holder behavior are outside this arithmetic model.
FAQ

Questions about this tool

Does an unlock guarantee a price drop?

No. The output is scenario arithmetic, not a price prediction.

What is FDV?

Fully diluted valuation is current token price multiplied by total token supply.

Why include a constant-price scenario?

It shows the market-cap increase required for price to remain unchanged after circulating supply grows.
